[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산광역시교육청은 지난 1월 28일 부산대학교에서 중등 교원 46명과 예비교사 20명을 대상으로 ‘2026년 IB(국제 바칼로레아) 교사·예비교사 역량강화 실천 포럼’을 개최했다고 2일 밝혔다.  

이번 포럼은 부산시교육청과 부산대학교 종합교원양성센터가 공동 주관했으며, 부산지역 IB 학교 확산과 교원의 전문성 제고, 교사 간 네트워크 강화를 목표로 마련됐다.  

포럼에서는 한국교원대학교 정문현 교수가 ‘IB 수업–과제–평가 정렬: 기준 기반 평가 관점에서의 심층 분석과 적용’을 주제로 특강을 진행했다. 이어 제주 표선고 이유래 교사가 MYP(중등교육프로그램) 및 Pre-DP(디플로마 예비과정) 운영 사례를, 부산중앙중 이혜지 교사가 ‘IB 교육과정 재구성과 수업·평가 틀 구성’ 사례를 발표했다.  

참가자들은 IB 운영 현장의 실제 경험과 실천 사례를 공유하며, 지역 내 IB 학교의 수업·평가 실행력 강화를 위한 방안을 논의했다.  

김석준 교육감은 “이번 포럼이 IB 실행 사례를 공유하고 교원의 현장 역량과 협력 네트워크를 강화하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 IB 학교의 내실 있는 운영을 통해 미래 역량을 기르는 수업·평가 혁신을 지속하겠다”고 말했다.  

[Here is anl English version of the article] Busan Education Office Hosts IB Teacher Training Forum 

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education said Monday it held a forum at Pusan National University on Jan. 28 to strengthen the teaching competence of secondary school IB (International Baccalaureate) teachers and pre-service teachers.  

The “2026 IB Teacher and Pre-service Teacher Capacity-Building Forum” brought together 46 teachers and 20 pre-service educators. It was jointly organized by the Busan Education Office and Pusan National University’s Comprehensive Teacher Education Center to expand IB schools in the region and enhance teacher professionalism and networking.  

The program featured a keynote lecture by Jeong Moon-hyun, a professor at Korea National University of Education, on aligning IB lessons, tasks, and assessments from a criterion-referenced perspective. Lee Yu-rae from Pyoseon High School in Jeju presented best practices for MYP (Middle Years Programme) and Pre-DP operations, while Lee Hye-ji from Busan Jungang Middle School introduced a case study on redesigning IB curricula and developing assessment frameworks.  

Participants shared practical experiences from IB classrooms and discussed strategies to strengthen instructional and assessment capacity in Busan’s IB schools.  

Busan Education Superintendent Kim Seok-jun said he hopes the forum “will serve as a platform for sharing IB practices and enhancing teachers’ competence and collaboration networks,” adding that the office will continue to support IB schools to foster innovation in teaching and assessment.
