[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산 해운대구는 가정의 교육비 부담을 줄이고 교육의 형평성을 높이기 위해 2026학년도 입학생에게 입학지원금을 지급한다고 9일 밝혔다.  

대상은 2026년 3월 3일 기준 해운대구에 주민등록이 된 초등학교와 고등학교 입학생, 타 시도 중학교 입학생, 1학년에 준하는 교육기관 입학생이다.  

지원금은 초등학교 입학생에게 20만 원, 고등학교와 타 시도 중학교 입학생 등에게 30만 원이 지급된다. 다만 부산시교육청에서 교복구입비를 받은 부산시 소재 중학생이나, 다른 지자체나 기관에서 유사한 지원을 받은 경우에는 지급액이 줄거나 제외될 수 있다.  

신청은 3월 3일부터 12월 11일까지 해운대구 홈페이지와 보조금24를 통한 온라인 신청 또는 동 행정복지센터와 구 교육도서관 방문으로 할 수 있다.  

해운대구 관계자는 “입학지원금이 학부모의 경제적 부담을 덜고 학생들이 새로운 출발을 준비하는 데 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 학생 중심의 교육 지원 정책을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.  

[Here’s the English version of the news article] Haeundae District to Provide Admission Support Fund for 2026 School Year  

Busan’s Haeundae District announced on Feb. 9 that it will provide an “admission support fund” for students entering school in the 2026 academic year to ease household education expenses and promote fairness in education.  

Eligible recipients include students who, as of March 3, 2026, are residents of Haeundae District and are entering elementary or high school, middle schools in other cities or provinces, or equivalent educational institutions.  

Elementary school students will receive 200,000 won, while high school students and middle school students entering schools outside Busan will receive 300,000 won. However, students attending middle schools in Busan who already receive a school uniform subsidy from the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, or those receiving similar support from other local governments or institutions, may have their payments reduced or disqualified.  

Applications will be accepted from March 3 to December 11 through the Haeundae District website, the national “Bojogeum 24” online portal, or in person at local administrative welfare centers and the district education library.  

A district official said, “We hope this support fund will ease the financial burden on parents and help students prepare for a new start,” adding that the district “will continue to expand education policies centered on students.”
